Wednesday night Your Mom's threw a surprise birthday party for me. I played a set with Isaiah beatboxing and was followed by a great folk-punk band from Colorado called Tejon Street Corner Thieves and then local friends The Rabid Believers. They even had a birthday cake for me. It was an awesome night and I had a blast hanging out with everyone!

This week's TWVS had a low attendance what with people being scared of storms. Power flicked off and on, so I kept the sound system off and just played acoustic at the bar. When it was just the bartender, RahRah and me I dicked around with some covers I haven't played in a while. Later in the evening we had some people show up because the concert they were at got canceled. So I played a few songs for them and talked a while about life and music. I only kept track of the originals I played for them.

Last night I joined Trey for JJ's Sunday Night Revival. Lots of singer-songwriters showed up. This was an all day affair starting in the early afternoon and going on late into the evening. I think we played around 11pm. We did the song-swap style where we got on stage together and just took turns playing songs.
