Another week of the Bum Fight Open Mic at Hobo Tavern. This was our 3rd time out. Joined by Matt and Brian and playing some music. Aside from the two sets I did I also sang backup for Matt on a couple songs during his set. Need some help spreading the word to get more performers out. After it warms up we are moving to the outside stage and will be bringing drums to make it more of a full jam setting.

Last night we held the very first Bum Fight Open Mic at the Hobo Tavern. It was awesome. We had a rocky start with some crossed wires about some sound details, but got it figured out pretty quick. Quite a few people showed up and there was also a birthday party for a local biker. So lots of people and lots of food. I hosted and played between all of the people that signed up with Matt backing me up. Not only did people get up to play their music, they would jam with each other as well. A very fun and creative night that will hopefully continue in this tradition every Monday.

After the screening we did a short Q&A, which I was unprepared for as I had no idea we were going to be doing that. It was cool though. Last night I stopped in at Dustin & Metallisa's Hobo Tavern (formerly Smiley's) for their Karaoke Night to promote my new Open Mic that will be there. The place is great. Everyone in the bar will greet you and treat you like family. There is also a great patio area with a stage for once it warms up. Look out for the Bum Fight Open Mic coming to Hobo Tavern April 9th.
