 Back to SoonerCon again. This was my first time to bring a band to the event. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend as much time there as I had hoped. There were a lot of cool things that I had to miss. Things ran behind on all of the festivities due to the NBA Finals and the hotel pushing things back, but it actually seemed to run smoother that I remember in years past. Good job to Aislinn. People went above and beyond in setting us up and making us feel comfortable. Before the show was actually set to start we dicked around on a few songs for the people there, some solo and some as the band. (Amazing Grace, Wolfshead, and more I can't remember) Even had Jackson Compton come up to do the first verse on a Violent Femmes song. (I didn't know the chords to the chorus... so I stopped it there. Thanks for being a good sport Jackson) Then we just rocked through what we could while time allowed.

 Third and final day of SoonerCon. SmacOne was able to join me this time around. This was a bit different than the day before. Everyone was trashed out and hung over from the Zombie Prom. I felt so mellow and wanted to go back to sleep. Still loved it though. This time I had a setlist, but didn't follow it... so once again... this is to the best of my memory.

 This was the second day of SoonerCon, and the first day I set to play. I was booked to play in the ConSuite. As with most places, they booked me with no one after me so I got to go a little longer. I really liked that. Ran into a lot of old friends and made some new ones... and got drunk as fuck (after I played). But what's a con for, right? Anyway, I didn't prepare a set for this gig, just winged it. This was best I could remember when I finished.
