 Well, after the parade was finally over and I got here I was wiped out and my throat was thrashed. We were on last so we didn't get to play as many as we had hoped for and the crowd was small, but there were a good handful that stuck around for us. It was worth it.

Setlist: Christophe - 10-29-2011 Ghouls Gone Wild Parade, Oklahoma City, OK

 Oklahoma Gazette's 2011 Ghouls Gone Wild Parade. My original plan was to sit out this year. I decided to run sound for Darkfaery Subculture Magazine's float with my friends God In A Machine supplying the music. Things just don't always work out as planned. I met up with the Darkfaery crew at their place of residence. They were adding some final touches to the float. We pack up and head out to the parade. Takes us twice as long as it should have because of all the construction going on. We finally get to the set-up area. Turns out we are in the wrong spot. GIAM is apparently in the correct location. We are boxed in and can't get turned around. (4) was separated from his band trying to find us. As the parade is starting there is still no band, so they ask me to supply the music. I quickly threw together the sound and as we start rolling down the street finally get it started and still am having to adjust levels. It wasn't what it was supposed to be, but we made do with what we had. I played through an old set and back over a few of the more "Halloween-ish" numbers. The setlist below ain't exact, but it's close.

 Drug the Pallbearers out again for the only show of the season. Got to play with my friends Creepersin, who I've been on a few compilation CD's with, but never got to meet face to face til now. Some local kids called Dethrone Humanity opened up. Turns out it's the kid of one of my friends from SWAN. Creepersin were amazing. We drug out the electric rig for our set. It's been a while. Broke a few strings. Played all but two songs from our set.

 Last night was the West Memphis 3 Benefit at The Hidden Castle. It was a blast. A lot of bands and a sideshow act all came out to help raise money. This was the first show for our new drummer Jim Bell and for our new lead guitarist Joe D. Our mandolin player wasn't able to make it though because he was recording with his other band.  Our first night to tryout the Acoustic Oklahoma showcase at VZD's. Played this one as a three piece without drums to keep the mellow vibe rollin'. I was feeling good and kind of sped through the songs. I think we did about an hours worth in a half hour, so we threw in some extra. Had a few friends roll out to see us and had a good time, hope to do it again.
