 Tonight was supposed to be Train Wreck Variety Show, but I canceled it so some touring bands could come through and have a gig. We had two out of state bands and one local that they requested. They showed up late, set up merch on the other side of the club away from my merch and did not speak a single word to me the entire night. So, I know who I will never do a favour for again. On the plus side, Buck thought it would be funny to ignore the band name we gave ourselves for the gig and promoted us as "Christophe & What The F*cks", so that was pretty amusing.

 Rock 'n Roll Christmas party with Darlington and Happy Tuesday. We had a blast. Darlington gave out Christmas presents to everyone during his set, Happy Tuesday passed out some for Mark and Bonnie of Red Brick during their set and we passed out one for every song in our set. Good time waster, stopping after every song to drag someone up to the stage and open a gift.

 Veteran's Day Celebration and Fundraiser at Your Mom's Place. All day event. Started off slow on the outside portion with the cold gloomy weather. Opened with some Native prayers and a couple acts on the outside stage before moving indoors early. Lots of acts over the entire day from about 2pm until 2am. Even some last minute acts came on to replace the bands that had to drop out. Bad-ass food truck. Live music. Lots of donations for the vets. Even cooked some S'mores. Killer party.

 This month we held the first "Christophe's Nightmare Cinema" as part of the Wizard World Pre-Party at Speeding Bullet Comics. It was pretty cool. WW supplied some pizza and we screened The Tingler with Vincent Price. This also happened to be the anniversary of Vincent Price's death. After the film I hosted a short discussion about it.  Another Train Wreck Variety Show, this time with special guest Ghandi Bonez. We had a blast. We played an extra long set. Handful of people got up and did songs. Ghandi did his comedy routine as well as a few rap songs and then freestyled for a while with Nathan on bass. Pretty awesome show.

Setlist: Fancy Bump - 9-16-2017 Snug Lounge, Oklahoma City, OK

 Last night Fancy Bump played at the Snug Lounge and it did not go so well. We went on second, too much time spent on set-up because there were some problems with Johnny's personal pa. Several times it came unplugged from audience members getting on stage, which cut out guitar and vocals, then the guitar itself shorted out completely. So it ended up being a wreck. I don't think a single song went off without a hitch of some sort. We finally ended it about halfway through. The bands we played with were great, hopefully we get the opportunity to do it all again with better results.

 Latest Train Wreck Variety Show. This one was a blast. We had two special touring acts that were both great. Ryan Davis of a band called The Rust came out and did a dark bluesy dirge and Fun Abuse did some high-intensity ska-punk. We also had a few regulars get up and perform like Paxton and Jesse. Anyone who missed this week really missed out on a great show.

Setlist: Christophe Murdock - 8-26-2017 AdaFest, Hot Shots Coffee House, Ada, OK

 Did a set at AdaFest. A small little festival in Ada Oklahoma, that is on it's way to becoming something much larger and cool. This is the first year they had more than one stage and more than a small handful of bands. They are stretching out and becoming something more along the lines of NMF with bands all up and down the main drag. I popped in for an afternoon set in front of Hot Shots Coffee House. (BTW, the owner is cool as hell and I recommend stopping in if in the area) A little too much sun for my taste, but still had a good time. There were a few minor hiccups, but from what I could tell the entire festival went great. They are on their way to becoming something special.
