 Went to the bus station to pick a friend up and, as is the case many times with greyhound, it was running behind. To pass the time away I pulled out my guitar and sang some songs, a few I was a little rusty on, and made a few bucks in the process. It felt good. I felt like I was going back to my roots. I used to play bus stations all the time, when I couldn't get a gig and was traveling around.

 We were on the fringe of Norman Music Fest this year at Downtown Sound for the Tussin Records Showcase. Had a blast, haven't done anything at Downtown Sound in far too long. Got to see some old friends and make a few new ones. Looking forward to more shows like this.

I am a supporter of Local and Small Business and this weekend was one of my favorite local businesses 13th birthday celebration! Thirteen years of bringing the best frozen custard to Norman, Oklahoma. Very cool. I came by in the evening and played a set for everyone stopping in to get thier free concretes and cake. Fun day!
