 I am way behind on posting this setlist. It was my final show of 2014 and the night I decided to retire my old trusty guitar with the Danzig Skull. I shared the stage with John Calvin Abney and touring act Coed Pageant. Coed Pageant are amazing. Check them out if you have the opportunity. My set was laid back, no mic or sound system. Everyone kind of gathered in a circle while I shared songs and stories. My mind was elsewhere, so it was a bit off from my regular performances, but still managed to have a nice time.

 Last night's Universe City Open Mic I also happened to be the host of the show. Stephen Tyler took the night off to go out and celebrate his birthday. The switch in days I think cut the amount of musicians that showed up to play, but it gave everyone a longer set. Everyone we had show up were quality musicians and songwriters. It was very cool. We had Canon Simmons, Kerry Wayne, Bryan Coke, Isaiah Harrell and Mike Black. Each played around fifteen to twenty minutes and then I closed off the night with a short solo set and a few of them came up on stage with me. Ended up being a very cool night.

 This was a fun show. My first show to rap live. SmacOne and I drove to Little Rock, Arkansas. Pulled into All American Wings just in time to see the Thunder win the game. It's a cool little club. Bad-ass wings, a small stage set-up for live music and a basketball hoop in the back. Wednesday was an Open Mic with us as the featured act to do a full set. It was more of a hip-hop orientated community, but there was a couple that wanted to hear my country music. So I signed up on the Open Mic and did a couple songs. The guitar was coming through distorted through the mixer, which was unfortunate. There were a lot of strong poets there. Really dug that scene.

  This being a party at the Downtown Sound, I hit the bottle early again. I showed up early cos I had nowhere else to be and just jammed for a couple hours before the show and into everyone arriving. Playing all kinds of material. Watched a lot of my friends play stuff I really dig. The Father Phil, Ryan Lawson and one of my all time favorite poets Robert Spencer. After the show we ended up at The Opolis down the street cos Jabee was throwin' a wild hip-hop show. No one was keeping track of what I played, so my setlist is pieced together the best I could remember.

Turns out there were so many people signed up and out of state acts passing through that we ended up cutting it all short anyway. Did get a pretty lady to buy me some Jim Beam, so I obviously had a good time.

 I don't know why I always do it... you think after the Midwest Ink & Metal Fest I would learn that drinking and a long day in the sun don't mix well for me. I arrived at the Muscle Car Ranch a little after noon. I spent the first half of the afternoon on a rock bullshitting and drinking beers with Charlie, the keyboardist from Debris. Then SmacOne showed up and we threw some Jim Beam Black in the mix. Had a blast, got sunburnt to hell, watched Jimmy launch his drum kit 30 feet through the air off the stage and played a drunken set to whoever was willing to listen. Then apparently hit up an art show were I stumbled around for an hour, got high at someones house and took a nap, came back to the show in time to see Psychotic Reaction rip it up for a night time set. They tore up the stage. It was a great way to end the night.

 SmacOne and I hit up the Club Raw Open Mic again. Crowd seems to be different there every week. Last week they loved us... this week we got up there, plugged in the guitar, sound-checked with a country riff and the place cleared out... but not before Smac left them with some choice words on their way out the door. All that was left was Smac and me, the DJ and Beth.We did just three songs, but midway through the second song we got some passer's by pulled in. Also, the club added a stripper pole to the stage... Definitely going to have to get some girls to make use of that for a show in the future...
