 Back to SoonerCon again. This was my first time to bring a band to the event. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend as much time there as I had hoped. There were a lot of cool things that I had to miss. Things ran behind on all of the festivities due to the NBA Finals and the hotel pushing things back, but it actually seemed to run smoother that I remember in years past. Good job to Aislinn. People went above and beyond in setting us up and making us feel comfortable. Before the show was actually set to start we dicked around on a few songs for the people there, some solo and some as the band. (Amazing Grace, Wolfshead, and more I can't remember) Even had Jackson Compton come up to do the first verse on a Violent Femmes song. (I didn't know the chords to the chorus... so I stopped it there. Thanks for being a good sport Jackson) Then we just rocked through what we could while time allowed.
