 I've been going to the Truth Church for a little while with a friend of mine. This was the first time I was asked to join in a church band. The music is different than anything I play, so it was a little awkward at first. I showed up about an hour before service started and ran through a couple chord changes with the lead guitarist. I just sat out on the one I didn't know. It was a lot of fun doing something different and not being the focus. So, hopefully I'll be doing this some more.

The Prairie Fire's return to the stage. Back as a trio with Jim on drums. Tonight we opened for The Koffin Kats. It was a total pleasure sharing the stage with these guys. They were amazing. Things went well aside from a minor disagreement with another local. The Blue Note rocked, as always. We had our favorite sound guy Jacob fixing things up right. The crowd was very enthusiastic. Tonight was the first night I also had my friend from The Hidden Cape Foundation with us. THCF is a local organization on its way up that helps out families in need. We raised some money for THCF and Cancer Bites.I'll have some more info. on THCF soon.

 Last night was my first time to perform at the Pink Elephant. I have to say I was pleased. They were very friendly and it had a cool atmosphere. I set up this show last minute because my friend Sterling Witt was on tour and needed an Oklahoma date. Things went well, although the crowd was small they were enthusiastic. We had a good time, met some new people and sold a little merch in the process.
