 My return to Backspace, this time solo. Love this venue, love this town. Really the greatest crowd. Professor Gallico was the MC for the night doing his side show act in-between bands. Shared the stage with Rare Products, Formals and Witchsister. Looking forward to coming back soon and bringing some of the other bands I play with too.

 The yearly VikingFest in celebration of Jim's birthday. I think this may have been the 3rd one I've played. A lot of bands I love this time around. I opened up solo. Started electric and broke a string so switched to acoustic. Followed up by Rise And Revolt, Deity, Samhain Saints and then Fist from Wichita closed the night off. Hell of a party.

 Paid In Spades had a gig opening for Rise Again at YMP and I was working the door. I haven't seen them since we both opened for Doyle. They were kind enough to invite me on stage for their cover of Cancerslug's "Nadia", a song we have both been known to do. Had a blast and they killed it!

 Saturday night was the show I've been waiting for. This is where we got to open for Doyle of The Misfits. A big deal for me. I was scattered as hell trying to get ready for this. Ended up being a very cool night though. Started off with our friends Paid In Spades, then it was Justice Keeper, ourselves and Arkhon. All the openers killed it. Finally Doyle came out and it's the best I've seen them yet. Better sound and better performance than the last time they were in OKC. Phenomenal show. If you missed this you should be kicking yourself.

 Star Swamp had a Halloween party at Your Mom's Place. Cool low-key event where we screened films, had live music and a costume contest. Kicked the night off watching Christophe: Ballad For The Lost, some more films, a great acoustic set by Gentry Counce, more films and finally we screened Son of the Saw. There were some issues with the print at first, but then we got a good copy in. This film still amazes me. I love it. Following Saw I did a small acoustic set. Then we did the giveaways. Aside from that, they surprised me with a signed poster from Son of the Saw. Very, Very cool.
