For the Norman Art Walk I played an early set at Merrybelle's and a later set at Michelangelo's. The Merrybelle's show was a lot of fun. Dave Broyles of Shotgun Rooster opened up the night, I did a set of some of my mellower stuff, The Father Phil after me, even a cat from the Norman Weekender came up and did a song. The final act I don't know the name of, but was a lot of fun. It was a duo that played accordion and steel drum. We did this show a little different. JJ wanted it to be a more mellow kind of atmosphere so we didn't use a p.a. or any amps. The show had a nice laid back feel.
